Review:
I fell head over heels, completely in love with Jack and Hadley. Audrey Bell has a way of drawing you in and holding you captive until the very end. This story struck so many cords within me that I cannot tell you the emotions that went on with me in this book. It’s not often that you come across a story so wonderfully portrayed. Bell did an amazing job with every aspect of this book.
Hadley is one driven woman. She knows what she wants, how shes going to get it and she’s not going to settle for anything less. & she has an insane fascination with her cappuccino machine that gave me an insane amount of respect for her. The girl has an addiction and faces it head on!

Sizzling shipboard romance — Jody throws caution to the wind as she lets go of her inhibitions and indulges in one magnificent week of pleasure. Passions surge, lovers tangle and two lives will never be the same again.
Jody knew she was in trouble the minute she stepped on board the gleaming cruise ship and into the arms of the sexy celebrity guest, Taggart Keith. For just one week, Jody gives into the seductive flames of desire and succumbs to Taggart’s charms. But when she returns to land, can Jody resist the temptation of even more pleasure?
REVIEW:
So I decided to review this book for a few different reasons. One was because of the cover – it just spoke to me. Another was because of the genre. While I love me some romance, I also like the naughty side of it too. Yeah, yea, I am that person :) – Third being it was suggested to me by a friend. We all know me and taking people up on their suggestions!
Jody is a divorced mom. Seriously; I’ve really gotten into books lately about women rebuilding their lives after a divorce. I guess because, sadly, it’s so common lately, that it makes the book more easy to believe. Getting back on track here lol — she, like most of us, has a clumsy moments and ends up eye to eye with a good hunk of many candy. Chemistry BEYOND chemistry is oozing from the two of them from just a small amount of contact. Drawn to him in ways she cannot explain, Jody pretty much determines that a trip is going to turn into something she never could have planned.

Don’t Forget to Breathe

For most, breathing is second nature, automatic, instinctive. But for Jules Greene, a daily reminder is unfortunately necessary.
Why, you ask?
For starters, her highly dysfunctional family taught her at a young age that an excessively large bank account, and a high ranking role in Atlanta society, makes everyone either completely unsuspecting of a family’s deep, dark secrets, or they just don’t give a damn.
Secondly, when you work hard your entire life toward a certain goal, only to have your hopes and dreams smashed to bits the very first time you dare to put yourself out there…well, Jules knows firsthand that a blow like that to the ego will definitely leave you gasping for air.
And third, Jules happens to be madly, hopelessly, unrequitedly in love with her boss, whose devastatingly good looks and hidden charm manage to leave her breathless on a daily basis.
So, there you have it.
But now at twenty-four, Jules is tired of everything being one-sided. She’s tired of being scared, and she’s tired of living and doing everything for everyone else. Jules is finally ready to take a stand, but is she willing to lose everything she loves, everything she’s ever known, to finally start living her life on her own terms?
The answer is yes. She most certainly is.
My Review
I freaking LOVED this story.. It’s not your typical secretary in love with her boss story.. I know it might SEEM like that in the opening pages and the first few chapters – but take my word that it turns into so much more. This is the first book I have read by Melinda Harris and I can honestly say I am nowhere near disappointed.

Genre: Romance
Goodreads / Amazon / B&N / Random House
Opposites do more than just attract in Tony Aleo’s latest Nashville Assassins novel about a very bad boy and the good girl he can’t resist.
The instant Piper Allen sees Erik Titov, she wants him—wants his rock-hard body, sure, but the strength and mystery that lie behind that superstar hockey jock demeanor, too. So when he sidles up to her at a bar and slinks his arm around her waist, she’s lost. What follows is the wildest night of her life . . followed by inevitable heartbreak the next morning. And then, a few weeks later, a very big surprise: two blue lines on a pregnancy test.
Only a check to the head could make Erik fall for a nice girl like Piper. But since their crazy-sexy night together, he’s been trying to forget about her alluring body by falling into bed with every woman in Nashville, and it’s not working. So when Piper shows up at his house with a baby-bomb to drop, it doesn’t take much for Erik to suggest the nuclear option: marriage. While it’s supposed to be all for show, the second they say “I do,” the ice between them starts to melt into sizzling steam.

BLURB:

But when history threatens to repeat itself, Avery grows to rely on Rowdy’s protective presence. As the sparks between them ignite, she will be forced to choose between the security she’s finally found… and the passion she’s always wanted..
REVIEW:
Lori Foster has rocked my face off AGAIN! I have been waiting on Rowdy's book forever & I couldn't contain myself once I got it in my hands! I seriously read it 3 times. That is how much I am in love with his story! Lori's books always leave me wanting more, but in a good way! She writes such vivid, amazing stories that I cannot stand when they are over.. The fact that she can captivate me from the beginning and hold me until the very end is one of the things I love the most about her novels. Genius. She is simply a genius!
Rowdy is simply amazing. Alpha Male to the core - yet once you reach that core, he is simply a giant teddy bear. He isn't afraid to show his emotions and it makes him such a complex character. Outspoken to the core, Rowdy reminds me of myself sometimes. While I sometimes bite by tongue, when the time is right, I will tell you about yourself and won't hesitate to let you know exactly what I think. Coming from a past that he would rather forget, Rowdy looks at the world a little different than the rest of us. Avery... is something else all together when it comes to him. Something he has absolutely no idea what to do with.
Avery is such a demanding heroine. And by demanding, I mean in a good way. She captivated me. I couldn't get enough of her. Having had something for Rowdy for awhile (she appeared in other books) - imagine her surprise when she walks in on him with another woman.

Backfield in Motion (Seattle Lumberjacks #4)
Author: Jami Davenport
Published: 10/1/2013
Genre: Sports Romance
Source: From Author for Honest Review
Find: Goodreads / Amazon / B&N
Blurb:
All you'll ever be is a pretty face... Star running back Bruce “Bruiser” Mackey has heard those words his entire life, especially after his twin brother’s tragic accident. He might use his surfer-boy good looks to land lucrative endorsements for his secret charity, but he hates books being judged by their covers. Which is why it’s wrong that his friend MacKenzie Hernandez is intent on giving herself a makeover. Sure, Mac and her father have been reeling financially since her brother disappeared three years ago, and Lumberjacks management gives an annual scholarship that might get her life back on track, but he can’t imagine anyone smarter, sexier, or more beautiful than Mac already is. He can’t keep his hands off her—and the more they spend time together, the less he wants to. She’s perfect as is. One way or another, he’ll make sure the team’s tomboy greenskeeper gets a full ride. And between the two of them, they can learn to accept what’s behind them and look downfield to a future full of win.
Review:
I have read only one other book in this series & that was book 3, Down by Contact. I meant to go back and read the first two, but then I opened my email and had a request to review Backfield in Motion. I WILL make it back to the first two, because I loved these two!
Bruce “Bruiser” Mackey is pretty much mistaken by society as a whole. I must admit; upon reading this book, I thought the exact same thing at first. All they see is a Pretty Boy Model who happens to be a sports star. What they failed to realize was money he made from endorsements and such went to a charity. On the outside - you see a pretty face and that is about it. What you don't realize is that once you peel away the face worthy of drooling, he is a deep soul; waiting to be able to show is true self to those who deserve him.
I love me some Mac. Mackensie is just like I was not too long ago. I was just like one of the boys. I could care less if I had grease on my face or if I preferred sneakers over heels. She's always had this little secret crush on Bruce. She does the best she can with the cards that she was dealt. She has a withdrawn father who would rather focus all his energies on finding her brother.
